1. Today we are celebrating Oottuthirunnal in honour of St Joseph. After 6 pm Solemn Holy Qurbana we will have Oottunercha. Those who can sponsor for Oottunercha, give your contribution at the counter outside.
2. On the occasion of Ruby Jubilee, 40 hours of Adoration is conducted on March 30, 31 and April 1 from 7 am to 8 pm. All the parishioners are reminded to attend the Adoration and give thanks to God for the graces we have received over the past 40 years.
3. Next Friday the Way of the Cross will be led by Holy Family Ward, St Joseph’s Ward Adugodi; Rev Sisters of Holy Family Convent. Next Sunday the Way of the Cross will be led by Mariam Thresia Ward, Rev. Sisters of Jnanodhaya CMC and Fransiscan Holy Cross.
4. Priests will be available in the Church for Confession from 5 pm onwards on Fridays and Saturdays, in preparation for the Great Lent. Kindly see the notice for the details of Holy Week Services.
5. Parishioners have the opportunity to include Photos of Birthdays, Marriage, Wedding Anniversary, Death Remembrance and Advertisements for the next Santhome Messenger. Submit the matters in the office before next Saturday.
6. Ward councilors and Association Representatives are requested to give the name and Contact number of newly elected office bearers in the parish office at the earliest.
7. Summer Camp for the children from 4th to 9th Standard will be conducted from 11th to 15th of April and for the children of 10th, 11th and 12th from 14th to 16th of April from 9 am to 4 pm. Children can register their names in the Parish Office before 30th March.
8. Applications are invited from Parishioners who hold a Degree and are committed to teach Catechism for the next academic year. The interested applicants shall submit their application at the Parish Office.
9. Admissions are open at Santhome Kinder to Pre-KG, LKG and UKG for the year 2023-2024. Kindly confirm your seats at the earliest as the seats are limited.
10. Mathruvedhi is organizing a free Ayurvedic Medical Camp, on 26th March next Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm at Parish Administrative Block.
11. Few more seats are available for the Chennai-Mylapur pilgrimage conducted by St Christopher’s Association. Those who are interested can book at the counter outside.
12. New families staying in the parish boundary, kindly take parish membership and give their name to the respective ward councilors. Kindly co-operate to pay pending Monthly Subscription at the earliest. The youth who have been staying here for more than 6 months have to obtain youth identity card from the parish church. To obtain a Free State Certificate for marriage, youth identity card is a must and this certificate will be issued only 3 months after obtaining the youth identity card.
13. The Volunteers of Little Flower church, Kothannur Dinne of our Diocese, will approach you next Sunday as part of fund raising for the construction of their Church. Kindly encourage their initiative with your contributions.
14. St Xavier’s Ward, Way of the Cross will be held next Saturday, at 7 pm, at our church.
