1. Tomorrow we will Commemorate the departed from our parish. After 6.30 pm Holy Qurbana there will be procession to Vault Cemetery and Oppees thereafter. Relatives of those buried here shall decorate their tombs. On 7th February Tuesday we are celebrating Senior Citizens Day. After 6 pm Holy Qurbana there will be a special prayer for them.
2. In preparation for the Parish Feast, Abhishekagni Bible Convention will be conducted on 8th, 9th and 10th of February from 3.30 pm to 9.00 pm. This retreat will be led by Rev. Fr Samson Mannoor of Abhishekagni team, Attappadi. All are welcome.
3. On 10th February Friday, there will be a renewal of marriage vows at the conclusion of the Abhishekagni Bible Convention. All couples are reminded to participate.
4. On 11th February Saturday, the procession carrying miniature arrows in honour of St. Sebastian, will leave the church at 7.30 am and can be received in the homes of parishioners. And there will be solemn Procession from St. Chavara Krupalaya to the Parish church at 6.30 pm.
5. On 12th Feb. Sunday the Solemn Feast Qurbana will be celebrated by Kakkanad Mount St Thomas Curia Bishop Mar Sebastian Vaniyapurackal, followed by Solemn Procession and Cultural programme by Wards and Associations at our parish Main Hall. Malayalam Drama and Super Mega Show will be staged after the public Gathering at 5.30 pm.
6. As part of Parish Feast, we have Rosary before Novena Qurbana. We look forward to the co-operation of Rev. Sisters and all Wards & Associations. There will be facilities for offering ‘Ambu’ and ‘Adima’ in the church after the procession on 11th Feb.Saturday and on 12th Feb. Sunday. Those who wish to give Nercha during the Parish Feast days shall contact the Parish Office. The detailed information of the Parish Feast is in the Notice.
7. Next Tuesday at 6.30 pm there will be a meeting for the Volunteers of the Parish Feast. All the Volunteers who have given names are requested to attend.
8. All the Parish Feast Presudenthis and Main Presudenthies are requested to collect their badges and candles from the Trustee room at 4 pm next Saturday and attend the presudenthi Vazhcha after the 4.30 pm Holy Qurbana and shall occupy the place infront of the Paliyam in the procession.
9. Kindly co-operate by parking your vehicles – Two Wheelers at Christ School and Four Wheelers at Dharmaram Compound on the Retreat days and Feast Days (ie 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Feb.) There will be Kerala food stalls in the church compound during these days.
10. For the convenience of the procession, it is reminded that no one should park their vehicles at the 4th and 7th crosses opposite the church next Sunday.
11. Catechism Annual Exam will be conducted on 19th February, Sunday from 8.45 to 10.45 am. Parents are requested to prepare their children for the same.
12. The members of St Vincent De Paul Society are taking collections outside the church. Please encourage their initiatives with your contributions.
13. Thirunal Committee Coordinators meeting will be held today after 9 am Holy Qurbana at parish Administrative Block. Committee Coordinators related to the parish Feast and Retreat are requested to attend.
